These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of Lark Chauffeurs’ Website. Lark Chauffeurs is located at:

The following terminology applies to these Terms and Conditions, Privacy Statement and Disclaimer Notice and any or all Agreements: “Client”, “You” and “Your” refers to you, the person accessing this website and accepting the Company’s terms and conditions. “The Company”, “Ourselves”, “We”, “Our” and “Us”, refers to our Company, Lark Chauffeurs. “Party”, “Parties”, or “Us”, refers to both the Client and ourselves, or either the Client or ourselves. All terms refer to the offer, acceptance and consideration of payment necessary to undertake the process of our assistance to the Client in the most appropriate manner, whether by formal meetings of a fixed duration, or any other means, for the express purpose of meeting the Client’s needs in respect of provision of the Company’s stated services/products, in accordance with and subject to, prevailing law of Ireland. Any use of the above terminology or other words in the singular, plural, capitalisation and/or he/she or they, are taken as interchangeable and therefore as referring to same.

Cancellations

To cancel your booking with Lark Chauffeurs, please send an email to info@larkchauffeurs.ie.

Business Class, First Class, Luxury Vans, and Luxury Coaches booked for Transfers or Airport Transfers
You have the right to cancel your booking for free up to 24 hours prior to pickup. If the cancellation is made within 24 to 12 hours, you will incur a charge of 50% of the quoted rate. If less than 12 hours notice is given, the penalty is 100%. In such cases, you will not be eligible for a refund, and a cancellation invoice will be supplied on request.

Business Class, First Class, Luxury Vans, and Luxury Coaches booked for One Day Tours or Weddings
You have the right to cancel your booking for free up to 48 hours prior to pickup. If the cancellation is made within 48 to 24 hours, you will incur a charge of 50% of the quoted rate. If less than 24 hours notice is given, the penalty is 100%. In such cases, you will not be eligible for a refund, and a cancellation invoice will be supplied on request.

Business Class, First Class, Luxury Vans, and Luxury Coaches booked for Multi-Day Tours
You have the right to cancel your booking for free up to 7 days prior to the start date of your tour. If the cancellation is made within 7 to 2 days prior, you will incur a charge of 50% of the quoted rate. If less than 2 days notice is given, the penalty is 100%. In such cases, you will not be eligible for a refund, and a cancellation invoice will be supplied on request.

Waiting Time

At Lark Chauffeurs, we understand that unforeseen circumstances may prevent you from arriving at the pickup location on time. That’s why we offer a free waiting time service.

Airport Pickups
The first 60 minutes of waiting time is included in the hire price and begins from the moment the plane has landed. After that, waiting time will be charged at our hourly rate, based on our current tariff at the time of the journey.

All Other Pickup Locations
The first 25 minutes of waiting time is included in the hire price and begins from the scheduled pickup time, even if your driver arrives early. If you require your driver to wait, the next 15 minutes will be charged at €1.35 per minute. After that, waiting time will be charged at our hourly rate, based on our current tariff at the time of the journey.

No Shows

If you fail to arrive at the collection point, no refund will be issued. We will always try to contact you or the booking contact before instructing the driver to leave.

Amendments to Bookings

Please ensure that accurate details are provided when making a booking. If any changes need to be made after your confirmation has been issued, please refer to your reservation number. Lark Chauffeurs reserves the right not to accept amendments to a booking if they are made less than 24 hours prior to pickup.

Prices

The price quoted at the time of reservation is guaranteed to remain the same as long as no alterations are made to the itinerary after the reservation has been made. Any alterations made to the journey itinerary after the reservation has been made will be charged accordingly. Any extra journeys or duties requested by clients on the day, where possible, will be charged at the hourly rate.

Additional Stops

The price quoted for One Way Transfers is valid for a start and destination address. If a ride is spontaneously lengthened (distance or number of hours) according to the wish of the Guest, the actual service will be newly calculated and priced according to the price structure below:

Additional stop within a 2km range of the direct route will be charged at a fixed rate of €15.00.

Additional stop within 2km to 5km of the direct route will be charged at a fixed rate of €25.00.

Additional stop within 5km to 10km of the direct route will be charged at a fixed rate of €35.00.

Additional stop within 10km to 15km of the direct route will be charged at a fixed rate of €45.00.

Waiting time during the stopover will be billed at €1.35/minute.

Hourly Bookings

It is possible to choose between One Way Transfers and Hourly Bookings. If booked by the hour, a minimum hire of 4 hours is requested. Each hour booked includes a distance of 20km in the hire price. Additional kilometers will be charged as below:

Business Class – €1.45/km

First Class – €1.55/km

Luxury Van – €1.65/km

Night Bookings

A 20% surcharge will apply between the hours of 22:00 and 06:00am.

Confirmations

All bookings are given a unique reservation number and are emailed to the client. We would ask you to check the details on this confirmation for accuracy. Please refer to your reservation number for any alterations or cancellations.

Insurance

The vehicles/drivers of Lark Chauffeurs are fully insured including Public Liability Insurance.

Route

The route taken is at the driver’s discretion. The driver will take the best possible route and in the event of heavy traffic congestion, he/she will amend the route if necessary and endeavor to deliver passengers to their destination on time. Lark Chauffeurs do not accept responsibility for any delays, missed appointments or travel arrangements. Always allow plenty of time for your journey.

Children

Lark Chauffeurs will provide child seats. If a child seat is required for your journey, it must be requested at the time of booking. It must be checked by the parent/carer of the child and fitted correctly. The parent/carer is responsible for the safety of the child at all times.

Weddings

Bridal Cars and wedding vehicles are booked for a period of up to 4 hours – garage to garage – and include a distance of 80 kilometers within Co. Dublin. Additional hours will be charged at €65/hr and additional kilometers will be charged at €1.55/km.

Smoking

Lark Chauffeurs operates a strict No Smoking policy in all our vehicles.

Dogs

Guide dogs are allowed in our vehicles but must be declared at the time of reservation.

Responsibility

Lark Chauffeurs do not accept responsibility for the following: delays due to adverse weather conditions; theft or damage of any item belonging to any of the passengers travelling in our vehicles unless caused by a member of our staff; delays caused by road traffic accidents; other traffic conditions or acts of God; any passenger leaving possessions or items in the vehicle does so at their own risk.

Damage

If any of our vehicles are damaged or soiled as a result of passengers’ actions, we will charge the client fully for the amount to rectify the vehicle and for time lost while the vehicle was taken out of the fleet.

Gratuities

Gratuities are at the client’s discretion and are not included in the price. If the client wishes to make a gratuity payment, they may request it to be charged at their discretion.
